Hey Everyone,

Our Troop/Crew has a permit to go to Florida Seabase during our Spring Break, April 19-25, 2015.  The Florida Seabase is one of BSA's High Adventure programs.  We have a tentative reservation for two 45-50 ft. sail boats that can accomodate up to 8 people each.  We are signed up for the Coral Reef Sailing adventure which includes snorkeling, fishing, sailing, SUP, tubing, small boat sailing, and a day at the Seabase headquarters.  We would sleep most nights on the boats.  info:

The cost is approximately $800/person plus airfare to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, 1 night hotel, and land costs from the airport to Seabase.   Seabase is about 2 hours south from the Miami airport at Islamorada in the Keys.  We likely could visit Key West sometime during our trip.  The minimum age to go is 13 and in the 8th grade or 14.  Male and female adults can go as well.

We need to make a deposit later in March to hold our reservation so I need to know who might be interested in going.  Keep in mind that our Venture Crew also has a trip to Philmont in June of 2015.  Please let me know soon if you and/or your son would like to go to Seabase with us.  I am trying to gage if we have enough interest in filling the 2 boats.
